There has been some confusion in the industry globally with regards to identifying principal flow via Tag 29. The FIX Execution Venue Working Group has created the following survey and we would like to ask each of our sell-side and buy-side participants to answer the questions that follow as appropriate. Based on the responses, we hope to come to a clear consensus with regards to guidance in this area. Please respond to this survey by the close of the day on Friday, February 16th.
