Welcome

Founded in 2006, the Dignity in Schools Campaign (DSC) challenges the systemic problem of pushout in our nation’s schools and works to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline. As a national coalition of over 100 organizations across 28 states, DSC works to dismantle the systemic policies and practices that push low-income Black and Brown youth into the school-to-prison pipeline, including degrading school environments, inequitable distribution of resources, punitive discipline policies, school-based policing and other racially biased practices.

DSC is supporting a Community Participatory Action Research project to better understand how new technologies can exacerbate inequity in our education system and contribute to the criminalization of Black and Brown youth.  In this survey, we are seeking the voices of young people.

We will share our findings and policy recommendations will all who participate sometime late summer/early fall.  Also, we will draw 50 names from survey respondents to win a gift card worth $25.

All your answers will be anonymous, we so appreciate you participating in this effort.  Thanks for your time and wisdom.
