If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
3. There is minimal risk associated with participation in this research. You may be made to feel uncomfortable answering questions about your dietary habits or food security status.

Detailed Study Description:
If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey on paper or using SurveyMonkey, which is a widely used survey platform. The survey contains approximately 26 items, and contains questions related to food security, current frequency consumption of certain food items, barriers you may experience in acquiring nutrient-dense foods, as well as other questions related to food access. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
Risks and Benefits of Participation:
This study involves the risk that you may be made to feel uncomfortable answering questions related to food security or dietary habits. The risks associated with participation in this research are no greater than those ordinarily encountered in survey completion.
There may also be other risks that we cannot predict.
It is reasonable to expect that the research team will have a better understanding of food security and dietary habits among individuals living in the 63703-zip code. However, we can’t guarantee that you personally will experience benefits from your participation. Others may benefit in the future from the information we gather in this study.
