Expected Standard of Conduct

A Standard of Conduct identifies the standard behaviour which is expected of all SW Hockey members, including but not limited to; Players, Coaches, Officials, Parents/Legal Guardians, Directors, Coordinators, Volunteers and Spectators.

Southwest Hockey is committed to providing an environment which all individuals are treated with respect.  Members of SW Hockey shall conduct themselves in a fair and responsible manner. Members shall refrain from comments or behaviour that is disrespectful, malicious, offensive, or brings the sport of hockey in disrepute.

Failure to comply with the Standard of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions in accordance with the SW Hockey Policies and Procedures, or those Rules and Regulations set forth by Hockey Calgary, Hockey Alberta, or Hockey Canada. Such disciplines may include the member losing privileges that come with a SW Hockey membership, up to and including suspension or possible removal from the Southwest Hockey Association.
