Performance Dashboard Feedback

The Department of Commerce is working to deliver better actionable data to stakeholders. Right now this means revamping the existing project level dashboards and making a single more comprehensive dashboard to visualize the things that are important to homeless system performance and the management of services. The first step in this process is evaluating how everyone is engaging with the current data visualizations and what they want to see improved.

Keep in mind that this new comprehensive dashboard we are building, as with the existing performance dashboards, is intended to address broad homeless system performance measures in the Balance of State. Some more specific programmatic measures (e.g. PATH or YHDP) may not be reflected.

Please help us in achieving this by completing this short survey with your thoughts on data dashboards. You can review the dashboards at the links below to familiarize yourself with what already exists and refresh your memory.

1.How often do you access the Homeless System Performance Dashboards provided by Commerce?
2.Why do you typically view the performance dashboards?
3.How useful do you find the data available?
4.What information is the most helpful? (feel free to list more than one)
5.What information is the least helpful? (feel free to list more than one)
6.How easy do you find the current dashboards to navigate?
7.What would make them easier to navigate?
8.What additional data would you like to see represented in these dashboards?
9.What are the most important questions that an improved performance dashboard needs to address?
10.If you could have anything you wanted from an improved performance dashboard, what would it be?
11.Additional thoughts or comments.
Thank you for completing the survey. We will be hosting a virtual meeting among stakeholders to discuss feedback and generate innovative ideas for our future dashboard. Be sure to keep an eye out for the invitation once a meeting has been scheduled.
