If you are involved in citizen science we want to know more!

The North East Catchment Management Authority (CMA) have developed this survey to collect information on citizen science activities within north east Victoria. The findings from this survey will be used to better support groups and connect their work with current and future projects.

For the purpose of this survey, citizen science is defined as: the monitoring, collection and analysis of data relating to the natural world by members of the general public.

 
Data collected by this survey will be used by the North East CMA to:

• Develop a better understanding of the citizen science activities occurring in our region;

• Explore how this data can be better connected to the CMA and other stakeholders and/or research organisations;

• Investigate opportunities to support and expand citizen science within the north east region; and

• Showcase and promote citizen science activities in our region.
