Kopernikus Project P2X: The role of sustainability in hydrogen production

As the need for defossilizing the economy and the global shift towards sustainable energy intensifies, green hydrogen (H₂) and Power-to-X technologies (PtX) are emerging as important players in the transition to a low-carbon future. However, to ensure that green hydrogen production benefits all stakeholders, we need input from industry leaders, policymakers, financial enablers, researchers, as well as representatives from civil society.

This initiative is part of the Kopernikus Project P2X and dedicated to exploring and establishing relevant sustainability criteria for the production of green hydrogen/PtX on an international scale. It systematically integrates diverse perspectives through an internationally facilitated stakeholder process including an exhaustive survey. Results will feed into relevant political processes and publications which aim to facilitate understanding and applying hydrogen frameworks in reality.

The survey will take about 15-20 minutes of your time, but your input could make a lasting impact on the future of green hydrogen and PtX production. None of the technical questions are mandatory and you may skip them if you cannot, or do not wish to, answer.
