Africa Volunteer Mapping Platform - 2022

African Union Heads of State and Government in decision Assembly/AU/Dec.274 (XVI) 2010 have recognized volunteerism as a tool for Youth Empowerment and catalyst for the continent’s development. The decision further mandates the African Union Commission to establish a continental volunteer initiative to promote Youth Volunteerism in Africa. The Volunteer Linkage Platform (VLP) is an instrument that brings together stakeholders in volunteerism from across Africa and creates a space for information exchange and data generation that can be leveraged to improve volunteerism in Africa.

Organizations engaged in the mobilizing, managing, sending and exchange of volunteers within Africa and placement of international volunteers from and to Africa are invited to fill out the following registration form.
