MIRID Lifetime Achievement Award: Testing Scholarship |
This award was created to provide financial support to MIRID members in good standing who are preparing to take or have taken, within six months, a standardized interpreter certification exam. (BEI, RID, EIPA, TEP, CDI etc.) There have been many amazing people in our state who have greatly contributed to and influenced the field of interpreting. This scholarship recognizes these individuals, and seeks to continue in furthering this cause.
The award will be for $100 to help supplement testing fees. This award will be given semiannually, depending on the funds available in this account. Proof of payment to the testing entity must be shared with the MIRID Treasurer (treasurer@mirid.org) before the award will be disbursed. Applicants are eligible to receive this award one time per year.
Please apply a minimum of 45 days, up to a maximum of 90 days prior to the need of the scholarship.
