LGBTQIA+ Disability Advocacy and Connection
This survey will help us inform the activities we do under LGBTQIA+ Disability Advocacy and Connection run by Queerspace at Drummond Street Services.
LGTBQIA+ Disability Advocacy and Connection is a free specialist service provided by and for LGBTQIA+ people with disability and their friends and family to connect with peers, access information, and build resilience throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. It is funded by the Victorian Government.

- LGBTQIA+ includes but is not limited to; a person who is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and/or Gender Diverse, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, BrotherBoy, SisterGirl, Pansexual etc.
- Disability comprises of formal and self-diagnosis and includes, but is not limited to; chronic health condition/s, paraplegia, quadriplegia, short stature, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, ADHD, neurodivergence, brain injury, autism, mental health conditions, hearing impairments, d/Deaf, visual impairments etc.
- Friends and family can include carers, biological and chosen family, support workers, and allies.
