Please complete this form if you would like your child to be considered for a place at The Hive Preschool.

Our Applications and Enrolment Process

Step 1
Parent completes this form and submits it for the Manager Tara Pople to review.
Please note this can take a couple of days.

Step 2
Tara will email you confirmation of receipt and issue an invoice for a non refundable admin charge of £10 to cover our admin. This is managed separately to any funded hours your child may be able to claim once they take up a place at The Hive Preschool.
This will need to be paid before we are able to move onto step 3.

Step 3
Tara will contact you to offer a visit. This will be a mutually agreed time. Please bring your child. We must insist that only 2 adults be permitted to attend to minimise the impact on the children in the setting. Large amounts of visitors can be unsettling.

Step 4
If you are happy and The Hive Preschool confirm the offer of a place for your child, you will be invited in for a paperwork visit.
During this visit we will discuss settling in sessions, key person etc.
Settling in sessions before funding starts are payable at £6.50 per hour. Settling in sessions once funding has started are not payable however any hours not used during this time will noy be carried over for use at a later date.

Step 6
Your child will officially start at The Hive Preschool

Funding Eligibility

Please note funding is only available from the term after their qualifying date (9 months/ Birthday)

Low income 2 year old funding - The term after the child's 2nd birthday (see below for more details)

Working families funding
9 months - 2 years - The term after the child turns 9 months.
2 years- The term after the child's second birthday.
3 & 4 years - The term after the child's third birthday.

Universal 3 & 4 years (Every 3 & 4 year old) - The term after their third birthday.

Birthday falls on or between 1st April- 31st August, funding starts 1st September.
Birthday falls on or between 1st September- 31st December, funding starts 1st January.
Birthday falls on or between 1st January- 31st March, funding starts 1st April.

Please apply/research your eligibility before accepting a place as places may not be able to be held whilst applying for funding.

We are not eligible for any kind of funding and would like to pay privately for our child's place.

Our Opening Hours

Funding is able to be used between 8.00am and 2.30pm.
We offer a 'late' club on a Tuesday and Thursday 2.30pm till 4.00pm at a cost of £10 per session.

Wednesday - Open at 8.00am - Close at 2.30pm
