The Center for STEM Education for Girls is able to offer scholarship moneys to deserving participants at the STEM Think Tank & Conference through funding from the E.E. Ford Foundation and our matching donors at the Harpeth Hall School.

Scholarship applications are due February 19, 2017. Applicants will be notified of their status no later
than March 14, 2017. Scholarship may be awarded for a full early bird registration fee of $265.
Unfortunately, no travel stipends are available.

The purpose of the scholarships is to allow members of key constituent groups the ability to attend the
Think Tank & Conference when their home institution may not have sufficient funding. You are
welcome to apply if you are a K‐12 teacher or administrator at a public, independent, charter, or
parochial school that serves girls. Additionally STEM professors and administrators from successful
programs for women at the university level may apply, as well as informal education leaders and
industry members.

If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be asked to commit to attending the full conference beginning Wednesday, July 12th, at 9:15am and ending Thursday, July 13th, at 5:00pm. You may choose to attend post‐conference workshops on Friday, July 14th, though it is not required and will be at an additional cost.
