Thank you for your interest in the ISHLT Strategic Investment Fund. This form is used to submit a Letter of Intent for the 2026 cycle. Please answer the questions as completely and succinctly as possible and upload your Letter of Intent when prompted.

Letters of Intent should describe a proposed ISHLT-led program, service, platform, or initiative that addresses a meaningful need in heart and lung transplantation and aligns with ISHLT’s mission and strategic priorities. Strong Letters of Intent will present innovative, high-impact ideas, outlining the problem or opportunity, proposed solution, strategic alignment, anticipated impact, and preliminary scope and budget range.

Any ISHLT member may submit a Letter of Intent, including individuals or member-led groups across all career stages, disciplines, and regions. Nonmembers may not apply.

Please do not submit individual research projects, research grant requests, endorsement requests, standards or guideline documents, consensus conferences, or programs intended to be run independently by individuals or third parties. These are outside the scope of the Strategic Investment Fund and may have separate pathways within the Society. All funded initiatives will be ISHLT-led programs, with support focused on program development, collaboration, and infrastructure rather than the direct funding of large-scale research or clinical trials.
