Walk, Roll & Ride: Guide Metro’s 10-year travel options strategy & investments

Metro wants your ideas on how to make it easier to use active and shared transportation—like walking, biking, taking the bus or train, and carpooling in the Portland region. These ways of getting around support vibrant communities, help get the most out of our transportation system, reduce traffic and keep the air clean.

In the Portland region, Metro operates the Regional Travel Options (RTO) program. This program provides funding, tools, and support to local partners who help people use these travel options more often. These partners provide programs, education and incentives that can support people to walk, bike, roll, or take transit more often. The RTO program is currently updating its 10-year plan. The plan will guide how Metro, and its partners support safer and easier travel that reduces pollution.

Your feedback will help inform how Metro spends resources to help people choose walking, biking, transit, or carpooling to get where they need to go.
