CPH Item-writing 2018

The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) is seeking nominations for item-writers for the Certified in Public Health (CPH) examination.

Item-writers are needed to develop new items for new exam domains which will be implemented in 2019. These domains are:

·       Evidence-based approaches to public health
·         Communication
·         Leadership
·         Law and ethics
·         Public health biology and human disease risk
·         Collaboration and partnership
·         Program planning and evaluation
·         Program management
·         Policy in public health
·         Health equity and social justice

Item-writers will receive a two hour online training in December/January and be asked to write/submit approximately ten questions/answer sets (items) by March 2018. New item-writers will have the option of working with a item-writing mentor.
