Introduction

Power On for Carers is a seven-week well-being program, designed by Women’s Health West for women who are carers.   Workshop activities will help carers recognise, at their own pace and specific to their own experience, what things in their life they have the power to change and enhance their own well-being. Women will work together to discover new insights and develop confidence to act towards improved well-being.  A peer facilitator offers insight and role modelling throughout the workshops.  The topics that make up the program include; self-esteem, positive thinking, being assertive, exercise and well-being and social connections.
