HCAM has an opportunity to adjust our current SAE Healthcare Apprenticeship Grant. Training opportunities will remain open until June 30, 2024 and include Nurse Aide Training (basic & advanced), Hospitality, and Life Enrichment apprenticeship tracks.

New options include:

· Increasing the grant funds from $1000 to $3000 per applicant to support training costs as well as wages during training hours.

· Offering supplemental funds that may be available to support an applicant’s ability to complete the training. The fund could provide transportation stipends, childcare stipends and other similar support.

· Retroactively enrolling applicants who have previously completed a nurse aide training program.
