Local IH Programs

AIHA is ramping up its efforts in understanding the current climate of educating secondary and junior college level students about careers in IH. The future of our profession depends on students being informed and then pursuing a career in the industry.

If you could take the following survey and answer two short questions, we would greatly appreciate it. 
1.What community colleges exist in your locales that award a two year Associates degree in OSH? (List all that apply)
2.Please list any high schools in your area that offers an AP class in environmental studies/science. Students are being introduced to the discipline. However these courses may NOT be including worker health/safety perspectives. We would like to explore this matter further with the local school boards or the school board responsible of AP course content.
