Expression of Interest
TROG is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Medical Oncology Discipline Representative within the TROG Scientific Committee (TSC).
The TSC leads TROG’s mission of conducting world-class research in radiation medicine by providing oversight of our research portfolio, strategic guidance towards new research directions, and fostering collaborations amongst TROG members, other professional bodies, other research organizations and industry partners.

The TSC leads TROG’s mission of conducting world-class research in radiation medicine by providing oversight of our research portfolio, strategic guidance towards new research directions, and fostering collaborations amongst TROG members, other professional bodies, other research organizations and industry partners.
Position Details;
- Term length; 3-year term, with the possibility of renewal.
The TSC meets multiple times a year to:
- ratify TROG's participation in all clinical trials;
- assist in the development of new clinical trial proposals which have been approved by the members of TROG;
- oversee ongoing clinical trials to ensure they are being properly supervised by their Trial Management Committee;
- advise the Board on scientific matters that may arise;
- initiate an independent audit on any ongoing clinical trial and, if necessary, act on that audit; and
- perform any additional duties set out in the Scientific Committee Charter or which the Board may ask it to perform.
