TROG Cancer Research is holding a one-day "Designing Accessible Trials" Concept Development Workshop (CDW) on Tuesday 2nd December 2025.

TROG is calling for trial ideas that
  • can be implemented in regional/rural centres; and/or
  • will include Regional & Rural recruitment; and/or
  • can be implemented in low volume centres; and/or
  • use decentralised trial designs (e.g. Tele Trials); and/or
  • use pragmatic designs; and/or
  • are registry-based trials; and/or
  • focus on cancers with high burden in rural/regional populations (e.g., lung, head and neck, colorectal, skin, breast, prostate) ; and/or
  • use simplified treatment regimens suitable for delivery with limited specialist resources (e.g., fewer visits, hypofractionation).

We invite all TROG members to submit their research idea for consideration via the form below.
Note: Please enter NA into any question below that isn't applicable or yet to be determined.

The CDW has been designed to encourage and support TROG members to bring new ideas for clinical research projects to TROG Cancer Research and to have these ideas workshopped in a multidisciplinary and collaborative manner into a concept to develop.

Applications close on 31st October 2025
- Confirmation of acceptance into the workshop will be sent by 15 November 2025
