Exploring Weather, Water, and Climate Services provided by the NMHSs for the Energy sector

This questionnaire is designed to analyse the status of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) in terms of weather, water, and climate services for the whole energy sector (carbon-based, nuclear, and renewable). The results will be used to populate country profiles of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Energy Portal, which is under development, and to provide inputs for the ‘’2022 State of Climate Services: Energy Report’’.  The results will also serve as a diagnosis for the WMO to understand better the members’ needs and requirements to support the national energy sector, including energy strategic plans and implementations, and to assess how to best support the NMHSs to develop and strengthen their services for this sector.

This survey includes the following 10 sections with 68 questions in total (29 are marked with an asterisk as mandatory questions) and it will take approximately 40 minutes to complete. If you have any question or require any assistance please contact Mr. Hamid Bastani at hbastani@wmo.int. We thank you in advance for your valuable time and for your accurate responses.
