NSW Bushfires Impact
a survey of artists, arts organisation, museums and heritage
Arts OutWest are working with agencies to assist our creative community with bushfire recovery. If you are professional artist, a creative business, museum, gallery or collective living or operating in our region - especially the Lithgow and Oberon areas - and have suffered direct impact from the bushfire we want to hear from you.
If you are a cultural tour guide or the keeper of a cultural place, please also complete the survey.
Arts OutWest will confidentially collate information to pass on to other agencies and assist in evaluating and assessing the needs of our creative community. This will hopefully lead to assistance that is genuinely useful to you.
We appreciate that this situation is not over and we understand that it is a long road to recovery. Examples of loss may include materials or instruments, infrastructure, portfolios, collections or bodies of work.
At this stage, this is not an offer of direct assistance, but any information you can provide will help agencies determine what is the best way to help you get back on your feet. Hopefully it will speed up the process. People in other affected parts of the state are also being surveyed by their local regional arts development organisation.
Arts OutWest values the importance of the arts to the very fabric of our community. Please respond with your needs using this confidential survey.
Please contact us on artsoutwest@csu.edu.au or 02 6338 4657 if you wish to discuss anything directly. Thank you for your time.
