2021 William F. King, Jr., Downtown Champion Award
Nomination - Deadline June 25, 2021
The William F. King, Jr., Downtown Champion Award was created by MDF to honor an individual or organization that envisions great potential and possibilities for Maine’s downtowns and works to make that vision a reality. It is the Maine Downtown Center’s highest honor and recognizes organizations and individuals who are dedicated to high standards for their community, defend its unique architecture, profess a vision, and rally behind its economic potential. Awardees demonstrate outstanding collaboration, leadership, innovation, a commitment to a shared set of values and may be professionals, volunteers, or even whole organizations or businesses.
Please include in your considerations how the person, organization, or business you are nominating has demonstrated exceptional leadership during the pandemic and efforts toward systemic change and equity.
