March for Life Bus Trip - Saturday January 15, 2022 800AM to 600PM (Free for the first 55 who register).

https://www.marchforlifestaugustine.com/

We will assemble at the Knights of Columbus Council 5357 Hall at 745AM on Saturday January 15, 2022, leaving by no later than 830AM.  Coffee and pastries will be provided at the Council Hall which is located at 2509 Myrtle Ave, Sanford, FL 32773.

The trip should take about 2-hours.  We will arrive in time to assemble and then participate in the March for Life - St. Augustine at the Mission Nombre de Dios and ending at the Plaza de la Constitucion, across the street from the Cathedral Church.  The march typically starts around 1145AM so you will have an hour or more to listen to some speakers and some music while everyone is assembling for the march. The march is about 30-mins from the Mission to the Plaza.  There will be various Pro-Life placards to march with, or bring your own!

At the Plaza there will be speakers you may interested in listening too, and then you are free to spend some time exploring St. Augustine and having lunch/dinner on your own.  Here are this year's keynote Speakers:

Dr. Monique Rubero:
I am a cradle Catholic who evolved into a cafeteria Catholic. In 2012, my marriage was crumbling, but God stepped in and renewed it. In response to His love and grace I fell in love with my faith and began my path as a Napro Technology Trained OB/Gyn, a 40 days for life campaign leader, author, public speaker and pro life advocate.

Dinner is available from 1200PM to 400PM at the Cathedral Parish Hall located at 259 Saint George Street. You can enjoy a spaghetti dinner made by the local K of C Council.  Unfortunately I am unsure if they can accommodate any special dietary requests, so assume it is a typical spaghetti dinner, with garlic toast, salad, and a variety of drinks and desserts.

Unfortunately, due to some income issues beause of the covid pandemic,  the K of C Council 5357 will be unable to provide dinner to attendees.  You are welcome to go to the Spaghetti DInner, which will likely be $10 (All net profits from dinner proceeds go to the March for Life organization), or find another location to have a meal. We hope to be able to pick up dinner again next year.

At 430PM we will board the bus for the 2-hour ride back to the Council Hall.  Complimentary bottled water will be available for those interested.
