Texas Psychological Association is pleased to announce its 2019 Annual Convention Call for Proposals. TPA’s President, Dr. Alice Ann Holland, and TPA’s Program Committee, chaired by Dr. Amanda Venta, encourage proposals for workshops, symposiums, research papers, and posters from individuals in all settings representing psychology. The Program Committee especially welcomes program submissions relating to the convention's theme. The proposal receipt deadline is 11:59pm, April 14

Your proposal should be concise and complete in order to be considered. Please check spelling and grammar thoroughly before submitting your materials.

Type of Programs accepted via THIS form:

Meetings/Events are reserved for TPA Divisions, Special Interest Groups, Boards, and Committees. We attempt to schedule meetings/events outside of the regular programming so that they will not interfere with professional development programming (1 hour, 1.5 hour, 2 hours).  Do not use this form if you wish to have professional development credit offered for your program. You should submit a workshop or symposium proposal.

Listed below are the minimum material requirements for each type of programming. Should you fail to include this information with your proposal, we will not contact you to resubmit. Your proposal will not be considered for review.

Please also note that this information is used to evaluate the quality of programming you are proposing. Therefore, please take time to clearly outline your proposed activity and proofread before submitting.

Meetings must include:
1) Completed online proposal submission
2) 50-word description for publication in the printed convention program
