As a lower-tier municipality, we focus on local services that directly affect your day-to-day life. Other services, such as social services, long term care, housing and homelessness are managed by Hastings County.
As costs continue to rise across all sectors—from household expenses to municipal operations—Bancroft faces growing financial pressures in maintaining essential services. As a regional hub serving neighboring communities, our responsibilities are broad, and your feedback helps us make informed, balanced decisions that reflect local priorities.
