Representative Dennis Richardson Survey

Survey on how to improve the Safety of Children and Educators on K-12 School Campuses

* 1. Do you believe the current policy of reporting the emergency to law enforcement, “locking down” classrooms and waiting for the police to arrive, is sufficient protection for our children and educators in public schools?

* 2. Do you think a “Campus Responder” policy should be considered--where a small number of trained, experienced volunteers from a school’s administrative staff or other personnel from the community designated by a school could have access to their firearms while at school—in the event a mass murderer enters the school and begins a deadly rampage?

* 3. Do you have a suggestion on what policy changes you feel should be considered to lessen the loss of lives when a mass murderer begins his deadly rampage on a school campus?
