Consent to Treatment and Prevention of Boundary Violations and Sexual Abuse

Congratulations! You have taken an important first step in learning more about the RCDSO's new Standards of Practice - Consent to Treatment and Prevention of Boundary Violations and Sexual Abuse.

The RCDSO Standards of Practice set out legal, professional, and ethical obligations that apply to dentists practising in Ontario. Standards of Practice support dentists and protect the public by communicating the College’s expectations for the profession.

By reviewing these Standards of Practice, assessing your practice and addressing any discrepancies, you are eligible to earn up to five (5) continuing education points in Category 2 for each Standard, as noted below.

To obtain your certificate, you must answer the questions below and click SUBMIT.

We will review your submission and email you your certificate within five business days.

Once you have your certificate, you must enter your CE points into your e-Portfolio under Category 2, Self-Study Activity / e-Learning Program. You may choose to upload your certificate to the e-Portfolio or save it in your files.

Please contact Susan Taylor at staylor@rcdso.org with any questions. You will receive a response within two business days.
