NOTA 2025 Executive Board Elections

We are pleased to launch the 2025 Executive Board Elections for the Nevada Occupational Therapy Association (NOTA). This is a defining period for our association, as the leaders you select will steer NOTA’s strategic direction for the next two years.

Your vote is essential! Participation in these elections is how you directly contribute to shaping the landscape of occupational therapy across Nevada. As a valued NOTA member, this is your opportunity to choose the dedicated individuals who will represent your interests and propel NOTA’s mission forward throughout the state.

Voting Instructions:

2. Select up to one candidate per position on the ballot

2.Please provide your name and email -- This is to confirm your membership status ONLY as only members' votes will be counted. Your responses will remain confidential and your individual results will not be shared.(Required.)
3.President-Elect
Term: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the President in executing the association's strategic vision.
  • Serve as President in their absence.
  • Prepare to serve as the President of NOTA for three years following the term (beginning January 1, 2027).
  • This is a pivotal role for a strategic thinker with a passion for advocacy, education, and community building.

4.Vice President
Term: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2028

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary lead for coordinating the annual NOTA Conference and continuing education events.
  • Support the President in executing the association's strategic vision.
  • This is a pivotal role for a strategic thinker with a passion for education and community building.

5.Advocacy Chair
Term: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2028

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help shape NOTA’s response to legislative actions and Nevada OT/PT/ST Board activities.
  • Develop and outline proactive strategies and activities to champion the Occupational Therapy profession.
  • Monitor state and federal policy and regulations and disseminate advocacy and reimbursement information to members.
  • Mobilize members for advocacy days and grassroots efforts.
  • Serve as Chair of the Advocacy Committee.
  • We are looking for a passionate and persuasive individual dedicated to protecting and advancing OT practice rights in Nevada.

6.Membership Chair
Term: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2027

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the identification and development of new and improved membership benefits.
  • Lead membership promotion, recruitment, and retention efforts.
  • Identify programs and activities to advance engagement.
  • Identify and respond to member needs and requests.
  • Serve as Chair of the Membership Committee.
  • We are looking for an individual with a network to help expand communication and interest in NOTA in Nevada.
