Malignant Hyperthermia Post Presentation Quiz

This quiz is designed to be taken following the presentation on Malignant Hyperthermia. The presentation and the quiz were developed by nurse anesthetist students Tina Moring and Cheryl St. Onge in August 2011.

A score of 80% is required to receive continuing education credit towards your Maine EMS license.

Providers at the First Responder and EMT-Basic level will receive 1 hour of BLS Topics for successfully completing the learning module and the quiz.

EMT-Intermediates and Paramedics will receive 1 hour of ALS Topics for completing the learning module and the quiz.

Once your quiz is submitted it will be scored by the Tri-County EMS Regional Office staff. Quizzes will be scored on a weekly basis. Providers who receive a score of 80% or greater will receive a proof of completion certificate by email. In addition, once each month a CEH completion roster will be sent to Maine EMS.

Providers who score less than 80% will also be notified by email and will be encouraged to repeat the learning module and take the quiz again.
