International Horizons: Scripted 2025/2026- Application Form

Supporting high-end scripted drama companies in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The programme will take place over seven months and will focus on how each indie can reach their commercial and international potential focusing on different strategies to sustain and grow their business.

Each participant on the programme will also benefit from one-to-one consultancy and business planning sessions which will help to identify and reach their business goals and ambitions set out at the beginning of the programme.

The programme will culminate in an international market visit to meet senior representatives from the major streamers, sales agents and distributors and content aggregators alongside meetings with potential co-production partners. This is a highly collaborative programme, with a real opportunity to forge new relationships.
This programme is funded by the BFI awarding National Lottery funding, Creative Wales, Northern Ireland Screen and Screen Scotland.

  • Have a slate of ambitious projects in development with a production strategy, for how they will get this slate realised internationally, including approximate overall budget

  • Be able to participate in all aspects of this programme fully, including market trips, for the duration.

Programme Dates

International Horizons Scripted will begin in September 2025. Initial sessions will include:

  • SEPTEMBER 3rd & 4th (Glasgow, in-person)
  • OCTOBER 22nd & 23rd (Cardiff, in person)
    • DECEMBER 2nd to 4th (Content London, in-person)
    • JANUARY 13th, 14th & 15th (London, in person)
    • FEBRUARY 4th & 5th (Belfast, in person)
    • MARCH 11th or 12th TBC (Glasgow, in person)
    • MARCH 24th to 26th (Series Mania, Lille, in person)
