Definition of Primary Care Providers- Doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who are typically the first healthcare providers you see for any non-emergency medical problem. They're trained for comprehensive first contact and continuing care for patients with any undiagnosed health symptoms, as well as preventive care.
