Thank you. Unity House Domestic Violence Program is holding a conference on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Russell Sage College as our main awareness event during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This date is also National Wear Purple Day and we are asking everyone to please wear purple to support victims and survivors of Domestic Violence. There will be two keynote speakers during the conference and four workshops. The morning keynote is Break the Cycle a nationwide agency dedicated to educating young people ages 12-24 to build healthy relationships and create a culture without abuse. The afternoon keynote is from the Office of Prevention of Domestic Violence presenting on strangulation in the context of domestic violence. The workshops will be Unity House on teenage sexual violence , Sage Colleges on Title XI, Unity House RRERT team on lethality and risk reduction, and The Brain Injury Association on TBI. *Lunch is on your own*
