7.2SLGBTQIA+ Equity work at the City of Minneapolis will be having an ongoing community engaged component to the work. In the past we have had a Trans Equity Council to guide parts of the work and serve as an accountability partner. When you envision a community advisory group what format would be most desired?

2SLGBTQIA+ Equity Community Advisory Group (covering multiple and many intersections within our communities, there could be sub-committees as well)

Hold the Office of 2SLGBQIA+ Equity accountable to the workplan

Hold the Office of 2SLGBQIA+ Equity accountable to ongoing community engaged processes

Provide feedback to the City departments on improving their capacity to work with our communities

Provide support and planning to programming for our communities (example is the Trans Equity Summit)
