Who are the nation’s BEST employers? We’re letting Career Communications Group (CCG) magazine readers decide!

CCG is conducting its sixth annual “Most Admired Employers” survey to find out what's important to minority professionals in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) career fields.

More minority professionals working in STEM fields particpated in the 2008 and 2009 survey, and the results suggest that professionals feel their employers' diversity efforts work. But nearly 57 percent felt that fewer minorities hold engineering or scientific positions in their workplace, and 26 percent reported that their organizations have no formal recruiting programs for women and minorities.

What more needs to be done to attract women and underrepresented minorities to meet the shortfall of STEM workers in the United States.

Please take a few minutes to tell us about yourself and the employers you most admire. Your identity will remain anonymous.

Results will be published in the Best Employers and Diversity Career Editions of the US Black Engineer & Information Technology and Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology magazines in Fall 2010.
