The Covid-19 pandemic resulted in unprecedented challenges for teachers, students and programmers alike. At the Schools Museum, we love offering in-person programs for classes to experience our charming 1900s school room, but it is unlikely that full classes will be able to visit the museum again in the near future.

Covid-19 is making us re-think how we can engage with our visitors, including teachers and kids! We want to know how we can help during this challenging time, and focus our efforts on creating new content and programs that will help you and your students in place of class trips.

PDF activity sheets - they are easy to assign and help round out a lesson

Video Instruction - a pre-recorded lesson or tour of a space and/or how to do an activity - I can include it in a lesson, or students can watch it on their own time

Live lesson - someone to "take over" and talk to the students for me from the museum!

Virtual Museum - a program with clickable and interactive elements to learn about different things inside the museum (e.g. a museum version of a virtual/Bitmoji classroom)

Discovery Kits for pick up - kits that contain a mix of documents, artifacts/props (from the museum's handling collection), and fun activity options that I can use to teach a lesson myself and return when I'm finished
