Golden Bear Pass Application
The Golden Bear Pass gives free entry to most places operated by California State Parks.
As a CalWORKs program recipient, the pass is free to you. To receive it, complete the form with your most current information.
The pass is free and does not effect your eligibility to receive other public benefits. For more information on the pass, please visit our website.
*Please Note: Only CalWORKs recipients can complete an application and receive the Golden Bear Pass for free. If you or your children are not receiving CalWORKs, and we are not able to verify your CalWORKs case information, we cannot issue a free pass.
Other social services programs (e.g. Medi-Cal, CalFresh etc.) recipients are not eligible for the Golden Bear Pass at this time. However, you may be eligible for other program passes that the Parks Department offers - please note that some passes may require a fee. You can visit the parks page to learn more about these passes.
