1. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

The ACCESS Program is for individuals over age 17 and with intermediate or high English proficiency. Your English proficiency score is required for application and admission. Students with lower than intermediate level proficiency will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be accommodated if possible. 

The ACCESS Program is a full time program and costs $2,250 per seven week term. It is recommended to enroll in two or more sessions.
Registration fees and program offerings are subject to change without prior notice.
Registration fee includes:
  • 12 hours per week of intensive English learning
  • 6 hours per week of supplemental learning/ language lab
  • Placement test
  • Orientation
  • Certificate of Completion (if criteria are met)
  • Student support services
  • Four day instruction schedule
  • Textbooks and other instructional materials
  • Visa advising
  • Housing information
  • Weekly local excursions
Application instructions:
  1. Submit this application with your signature. Note: if you have a sponsor, please fill out the pdf version of the application or have them acknowledge their responsibilities by email to tiep@tiec.org.

  3. Pay $100 application fee (non-refundable, non-transferable, valid for 1 year) at www.tiep.edu/payment or by check from a U.S. bank payable to Texas Intensive English Program
  4. Pay for any optional services:
    1. Express mail delivery ($60)
    2. Airport pickup ($90)
    3. Health Insurance (varies)
    4. Housing Assistance (varies)

    1. Passport identification page (for you and any dependents)
    2. Your current visa if you are in the United States
    3. Proof of financial support (if requesting an I-20)
    4. English proficiency test score
