Trinity International Development Initiative Massive Open Online Course

The Trinity International Development Initiative (TIDI) will launch a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in 2017, dedicated to a critical examination of the topic of sustainable development.  We are looking for your ideas on what content you would like to see in a MOOC on sustainable development and on the ways in which you would like to learn about sustainable development.

This survey will take approximately 5 minutes and is anonymous.

A MOOC is a free online learning experience. Thousands of learners from all over the world come together to explore educational resources delivered through a MOOC, such as videos, links, articles, simulations, reflections and discussion forums. The TIDI MOOC will be an interactive way to critically engage with the topic of sustainable development. It will be hosted by a platform called Future Learn and will be developed in collaboration with our global partners and Trinity Online Services, at Trinity College, Dublin.

The TIDI MOOC will be developed by TCD academics working on sustainable development. The audience will be a mix of students and researchers of development, global development workers, lifelong learners involved in continuing education, and the general public interested in the topic of sustainable development. This will be a four-week course with an estimated time commitment of 2-4 hours per week.

We invite you to complete this 16-item online questionnaire by February 28th, 2017. We really appreciate your input which will be of great value in helping us design a relevant and engaging MOOC on sustainable development. Everyone is welcome to provide his/her opinion. In return, access to a summary of the results of this survey will be fully accessible, and entirely anonymous on the TIDI website.  Thanks again for your time.
