Thomas Jefferson Health District Internship Application

Thank you for your interest in interning with the Thomas Jefferson Health District. The Thomas Jefferson Health District provides public health services to the residents of the City of Charlottesville, and the counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson. 
*Internships offered are only available to applicants currently enrolled in an academic program. If you are not enrolled in an academic program please visit:   to register as a volunteer.

Please keep in mind that each applicant will be limited in applying to no more than 3 open positions.

The personal information collected is only used by Virginia Department of Health, Thomas Jefferson Health District staff for the purposes defined at the time of the collection or a use that complies with these purposes. We do not share your information with any third parties.

We will not, in any circumstances, share your personal information with other individuals or organizations without your permission, including public organizations, corporations or individuals, except when applicable by law. We do not sell, communicate or divulge your information to any mailing lists. The only exception is if the law or a court order compels us to. We will share your information with government agencies if they need or request it.
