BVSC Strategy: Sector Survey

BVSC is developing a new five-year strategy (2026–2031), and we want it to be shaped by the real experiences of voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations across Birmingham.

This survey is an opportunity for you to share what’s happening on the ground for your organisation and the communities you work with – what’s working, what’s challenging, and what support is most needed in the years ahead. We’re particularly keen to understand the pressures facing the sector, how these may change over time, and what would help organisations like yours to continue making a positive difference.

Your responses will help ensure that BVSC’s future strategy reflects the needs and priorities of the VCFSE sector and the people it exists to serve. The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete, and responses will be treated in confidence and reported in an anonymised way.

The insight you share is incredibly valuable in shaping the relationship the sector has with the wider environment. As well as helping us understand how we can better support you as an organisation, we will also use this feedback to inform our initial thinking about what a VCFSE Covenant for Birmingham might look like.

Thank you for taking the time to contribute – your insight is a vital part of shaping the future of support for Birmingham’s VCFSE sector.
