Preregistering to be a Disaster Relief Volunteer is a proactive opportunity to a hands-on approach for disaster relief & response. Become a part of a database of citizens who may be called upon to assist & respond to the unmet needs of our community following the aftermath of a local disaster.

The purpose of this recruitment is to help ensure the readiness of the community to manage un-affiliated volunteers in the aftermath, based upon damage assessments & level of crisis.

Disaster Relief Volunteers will not always be activated after a disaster, but if they were, volunteers would be matched accordingly with the needs of the community. If you are in the medical, construction, transportation, communication, labor force, food service, security, and/or counseling fields, the community would need your help.

•Interested Disaster Relief Volunteers will be asked to fill out a Disaster Relief Volunteer Application.
