Former Wythe Fire Station - Community Survey

The City of Hampton's Community Engagement team is seeking community feedback to help guide future decisions regarding the former Wythe Fire Station site.

This short survey asks what you would like to see for the site's future and whether there are additional considerations City Council should take into account. Feedback will be compiled and presented to City Council on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Please note: A feasibility study has not yet been conducted. The building's condition, market demand, developer interest, and costs associated with adapting or reusing the site are future considerations that may affect which options are viable.

Option A: Demolish the existing structure and preserve the site as green space.

Option B: Implement the 2005 Kecoughtan Road Corridor Master Plan through the development of a traffic circle or public square.

Option C: Preserve the existing fire station building and adapt it for a new use through a future redevelopment process.

Option D: Demolish the existing structure and consider building something new on the site through a future redevelopment process.
