Fyne Homes has recently set up a new Tenant Scrutiny Group, Tenants Voice. The aim of the group is to review Fyne Homes’ policies, procedures and services to identify what works well and make recommendations on what could be improved. TIS (Tenants Information Service) provides independent advice, training and support to assist us in our work.
Our first project is looking at the Tenant Participation Strategy to provide recommendations for a new strategy that will hopefully be introduced early next year.
Tenant Participation is about how Fyne Homes listens to tenants, involves people in decisions, and creates opportunities for tenants to influence services and the future direction of the organisation.
We want to understand:
· What is working well
· What could be improved
· How tenants would like to be involved
· How Fyne Homes can make participation more accessible and meaningful
