2018 Symposium in the West Scholarship Application

The fire service is dependent upon volunteer and combination departments. Without the members of these fire departments, many communities would not have the financial funding to support a fire station. This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Frank Byrne, a long-time volunteer firefighter for Collingdale (PA) Fire Company #1. In his memory, the two award recipients of this scholarship will receive a full conference registration to the 2018 Symposium in the West along with a $1,000 stipend to help cover travel costs.

This application will be available until March 14, 2018.

We thank you all for your involvement in the fire service, and hope that if you are not the award recipient, that you still attend the conference to continue your education and bring back the education to others in your department.
