Cafe Steam Employment Application

Established in 2015, Cafe Steam is a locally owned and operated coffee shop with 3 locations in downtown Rochester. Founded on principle of creating an inclusive community gathering space that is centered around the love of good coffee, and good vibes.

Cafe Steam values community building, artistic support and personal growth while working closely with community partners to create coffee shops in Rochester that provide not only positive visitor experiences, but meets the need for our growing city to have spaces that are active, engaging and vibrant.

We are excited to once again be opening a call for new positions, and look forward to learning more about you. Available positions include part-time and full-time employment with priority given to continuous employment.

Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to -
- Preparation of coffee and tea
- Order taking / interactions with customers
- Cash handling
- Cleaning, organizing work and dining areas
- Event staffing
- Demonstrating a knowledge and understanding of drinks and their construction
- Continuing personal education of coffee
