Touch Football WA are aiming to build a comprehensive State Conference on the weekend of the 27th and 28th of February 2016.
The aim for this development conference is to better engage our key volunteer’s throughout the Affiliate network and provide information and key learnings for our affiliates to take back to their associations to implement.
The workshop will be tailored towards the wants and needs of our volunteers and tailored to ensure that each attendee gains the most out of the experience. The main themes will be around, improving member experiences, administrational practices, competition management and sustainable governance, along with areas for personal development.
The conference is designed to run over the course of the weekend. The weekends program will also include the following:
- Touch Football WA Annual Meeting
- Mandatory policy requirements around Working with Children and similar opportunities hosted by the Department of Sport and Recreation
- A forum on inclusive sport and Indigenous participation
- Opportunities to engage with other affiliates
- A state events forum for collaborative thinking.
- A general Q+A with Touch Football WA and Touch Football Australia Staff
- An evening dinner and chance to recognize our volunteers
The survey below is tailored to ensure we provide the best experience for our members and get an insight of the type of content our affiliates would like to see.
