Hello! Thank you for your interest in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training through the Missouri Academy of Child Trauma Studies at the University of Missouri St. Louis. Our TF-CBT national trainers, Kate Drewry and
Matt Kliethermes, offer training in a two-day format and in a year-long learning collaborative format. All training meet the national standards set by the developers of TF-CBT for state and national certification as a TF-CBT provider. To be eligible for a TF-CBT trianing, interested participants must:
1). Have a master's degree or higher in a mental health related field ( or be in training)
2). Be licensed in their professional discipline (or licensed eligible).
The two-day training is offered twice a year at our UMSL campus and is a pay-per-person format (this fee includes the required group consultation sessions).
To participate in a learning collaborative, training participants must be invited to apply and accepted to a training by the funder of a learning collaborative. If accepted into the learning collaborative, the cost of the training and consultation is generally free with the exception of travel costs. Please provide us with the information below in order to be informed of upcoming trainings.
If you any questions, please feel free to contact MoACTS project director, Amy Escott at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone at 314-516-6798. We thank you for the work you do on behalf of children and families!
