Thanks to support from Art Fund, TEG is offering Power Hour Mentoring Sessions for sector colleagues working on temporary and touring exhibitions and partnerships. Available on a first-come-first-served basis from 25 November 2020, these intense 1:2:1 sessions with a TEG mentor will give you the opportunity to focus on a challenge you are experiencing in relation to an area of your exhibitions, touring or partnership work.
The challenge or issue can be discussed openly and in confidence with your TEG mentor, who will support you to find your own solutions and ways forward. Mentoring is not an advice giving service. The aim is for you to leave the Power Hour session feeling more confident and re-energised, having put the issue into perspective and having developed your own potential solutions to take forward.
Please note, these sessions are focussed on temporary and touring exhibitions and partnerships. TEG may not be able to offer expertise and mentoring support in all areas, in which case we will signpost you to other sector support organisations who may be able to help you.
Sessions will take place by phone or video call at a time arranged between the mentor and mentee.
Sessions are free of charge to colleagues working in museums, galleries and charitable organisations. Sessions are available to commercial suppliers and touring companies for a small fee.
