Skokie CDBG-CV Small Business Assistance Program - Step 1

Introduction

In April 2020, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated CARES Act funding to eligible communities to support their responses to COVID-19. Skokie will receive $361,988 in Community Development Block Grant – CARES Act (CDBG-CV) funding. Village staff training sessions, public input, and program planning occurred, followed by the approval of a CDBG-CV plan by the Board of Trustees in June 2020. Several programs are envisioned for Skokie's CDBG-CV funds, including approximately $100,000 in small business assistance.

If you are a business owner with a business located in Skokie that is being negatively impacted by COVID-19, please consider completing Step 1 of the Skokie CDBG-CV Small Business Assistance Program application below. Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received, and scoring will include completeness of the Step 1 application and follow-up documentation.
